Three Fun Tricks to Teach Your Dog

Dog Trick #1, Shake Hands.

Have your dog sit, facing you. Put your hand out. Hold a treat in your hand. Lift your dog’s paw and say, “Shake,” or “Paw,” or “Gimme five.” Give your dog a treat. Repeat two or three times a day until your dog does it automatically.

Dog Trick #2, Crawl.

Tell your dog to lay down. With treat in hand, coax your dog to move forward while in the down position repeating the word ‘Crawl’. Repeat several times. Once your dog is crawling naturally try stepping back from your dog and giving him the command, ‘Crawl.’

Dog Trick #3, Touch.

Hold out a touch stick or your hand and wait for your dog to sniff it. Most dogs will be curious enough to do this naturally. Reward as your dog touches the end of the stick or your hand with his nose. Repeat this until your dog is reliably touching the stick or hand each time for a reward.

"Just got my pup back and he is so well behaved! These guys are awesome and went above and beyond to train my puppy. They were very quick to respond and always gave us video updates while Dobby was still with them. Highly recommend."
