"It’s All About The Dog"

Four Things Your New Pup Can Learn From New Puppy Training

Every new puppy owner knows their new doggie pup loves learning new things. However, it is important to provide a framework so they can learn the right habits as these are the behaviors that every owner wants to last a lifetime.   The advantages of our classes benefit both the owner and your pet.  Here are four of the things that your new doggie pup can learn from new puppy training.

New Puppy Training Four Things To Learn

Who Is The Boss

At the heart of obedience training for puppies lies the notion that you, the owner, are the boss. New puppy training makes this lesson ingrained and enforceable while maintaining the fun activities of training. You will need to master who the boss is to ensure the dominance of your new pet, and we will show you how.

How To Behave With Strangers

Puppies are excitable, and can often greet new guests by jumping, barking or nipping. These behaviors are usually not welcome and are stressful to both guests, strangers, and you. If you entertain at home, your new puppy must learn how to behave in the company of strangers through our new puppy training obedience classes.

When “Stay” Can Keep Them Safe

In the past, our experienced trainers have worked with many dogs who exhibit “door dashing” behavior. When a door is open, these pups like to bolt out the door. Without knowing the command for “stay,” these dogs can risk running out into a busy street where they can get lost or worse. Thus we can say, the command “stay” can keep them safe.

How To Behave Around Other Dogs

Another part of doggie obedience training, your pup will have exposure to other dogs. This type of canine socialization is valuable as it can teach your puppy how to play with other dogs. Poorly socialized puppies can develop anxiety or even become aggressive with other dogs, so we recommend new puppy training obedience classes for its social aspects.

"Just got my pup back and he is so well behaved! These guys are awesome and went above and beyond to train my puppy. They were very quick to respond and always gave us video updates while Dobby was still with them. Highly recommend."
