Canine Commander Dog Training Group Classes are Back for February 2015
We are excited to announce the schedule for our dog training group classes starting in February. These group classes will be help at the DogAbility Center in Hicksville. Please join us for the Canine Commander dog training group classes including: Group Obedience Training, Group Obedience Training, Board and Train Refresher Class. Each of our Group Obedience Training classes are five week courses. Our Board and Train Refresher Class is given on an ongoing basis and is open to dogs in our Board and Train program.

Board and Train Refresher Class
This class is included for dogs in our Board and Train program.

About the DogAbility Center
DogAbility Center is the first of its kind on Long Island (and perhaps in the country) to invite participants to visit at an all-inclusive location where a specialized canine-interactive experience is aligned with a participant’s needs. We provide canine-assisted activities, utilizing certified dogs, supervised by professionals and/or devoted volunteers while providing education, recreation, socialization, inspiration or comfort to a large variety of individuals and groups. Participants include adults and children with and without special needs. Our staff of professionals collaborate to design specific activities that meet the needs of both individuals and groups. This is accomplished by attention to the known benefits of the canine/human bond. We are currently all volunteers, many from professional backgrounds in canine behavior and training as well as psychotherapy and education.
DogAbility Directions
On Broadway just 2 blocks north of Old Country Road and about 1/2 mile south of the Hicksville train station. We are at the former location of “Beads & Stitches” across the street from St. Ignatius Church. Turn on East Cherry Street to park in our parking lot in the rear Entrance is from the parking lot.
The DogAbility Center is located at 153 South Broadway, Hicksville.
