OBEDIENCE Our goal at Canine Commander is to
help you achieve the highest goal for you and your dog. This way you
will have many years of enjoyment together. Our Obedience Training is
designed to help you communicate effectively with your dog and have
them become part of your families routine. We teach basic obedience
commands such as Heel, Down, Sit, Stay, Come and go to place. Our
Advanced Obedience is off-lead training which will allow you a greater
level of control in any environment.
PUPPY CONSULTATION We at Canine Commander
know the importance of raising your puppy and new family member the
right way. This starts the first day that you decide to get a new
puppy. We can help you choose the right puppy that will fit into you
and your families lifestyle. Our puppy program starts with the basic
foundation work to help you get to know your new puppy and acclimate
them into your home. This will help you to build confidence in your
puppy as well as a strong bond. We will address house breaking tips,
recall(come command), chewing behavior, teething, jumping and proper
socialization techniques for people and other dogs.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION/PROBLEM SOLVING Many
problems dog owners have start within there own homes. Some problems
that we can help you with are: house training, crate training, barking,
jumping, running away and pulling on the lead when you go for a walk.
These are just a few of the many problems we can address to make you
and your dog happier.
PROTECTION TRAINING Canine
Commander provides real life training for personal protection dogs.
Although you may have a working line dog, not every dog is up to the
task to perform this work. Let one of our trainers evaluate your dog to
make sure they can become a safe and confident protection dog for your
family and home.
BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAMS 2 Week or 4 Week Board & Train: Many
clients find our board and train programs the jump start they need to
begin accomplishing their training goals. Limited time, training
frustrations and the need for more immediate results are just a few of
the reasons our clients find our board and train to be an invaluable
service.
Additional Information: Please
do not include destructible toys or chews with your dog during their
stay. Please do not include your dogs bedding. Bedding will be provided
by Canine Commander. Please call in advance to schedule your dog’s drop
off time and first training lesson. Short notice may result in limited
availability.
